It's one kind of kapok. Mu Mian Hua is its Chinese name. It is the Flower of Guangzhou (my hometown).
It's very special. Unlike other plants, it flowers in the early spring but its leaves begin to sprout in summer.

Guangzhou is a very good city that I have been to several times. I really miss the shot days in Guangzhou.
there is a good-song named' mu mian hua'. i like guangzhou too, and its night-life in which most people sleep so late until 2am and maybe get up at 10am. when i was there, i felt the time was so fast. it is easy to spend time.
