This is the story: The Sheriff of Nottingham captured Little John and Robin Hood and imprisoned them in his maximum-security dungeon. Maid Marion begged the Sheriff for their release, pleading her love for Robin. The Sheriff agreed to release them only if Maid Marion spent the night with him. To this she agreed.
The next morning the Sheriff released his prisoners. Robin at once demanded that Marion tell him how she persuaded the Sheriff to let them go free. Marion confessed the truth, and was bewildered when Robin abused her, calling her slut, and saying that he never wanted to see her again.
At this Little John defended her, inviting her to leave Sherwood with him and promising life-long devotion. She accepted and they rode away together.
According to the above story, we could put 24 orders of the four persons: Robin, Marion, Little John and the Sheriff, which we consider they showed the most morality and honesty. Who was the best one?
First, let us analyze the Sheriff. He arrested Little John and Robin because of their faults, but maybe no any criminal reasons. The story hasn't mentioned this. However, he used his position's power to ask Maid Marion for her one night's company, it is against moral principles. So he was the worst one for his misuse of authority, defection of love to his wife and philandering.
Second, how about Robin Hood? He maybe has made some mistakes, so he was arrested. Obviously, his stubbornness and selfishness caused him to leave girl-friend. He preferred staying in prison for ever to losing pudicity of love. He was too possessive to accept Maid's help. A stupid man he was, so he wasn't favorable.
Next, Little John was so thankful for Maid Marion's devotion. He was a person cherishing other's help and know how to render back. He understood his benefactor's puzzledom, even though she lost principles. Therefore, he was a good one.
Finally, Maid Marion was a brave lady. She could try her best to win her boy-friend's freedom in despite of losing her pudicity. At least, she hasn't made any mistakes. Of cause, she did company the Sheriff one night because she did be cornered for the egregious requirement. She had to do so! Most of women, besides me, like her for her selflessness.
However, according to the psychologist, the story only showed us three emphases: freedom, love, and power. It is no any right answers just based on different opinions. In contemporary social, materialists like power best because power brings them benefit and actualizes their aims. Some people are hooked on love, they sovereign love is necessary; on the other hand, other people realize freedom is the most important…
Based on above analyses, I think if no love, life will be colorless, even though people have freedom or power. So in conclusion, Maid Marion is the best one. Love is most important in our lives.
How do you think? What is your opinion?

Yes, you are right. Without love life is nothing; howeverr, love is established based on faithfullness and purity. My suggestion is that the sheriff must marry the girl.
Interesting. The world consists of different people with different values and then diversified proness toward life.
Loving someone deeply i may cause you heartbreaking but one thing you must know and value your frienship before you and the man got married. Don't lose yourself You may find your prince charme one day.Keep look around ther are wonderful man somewhere !!!!
This story is so typical of male attitudes! It makes me angry. I think Maid Marion should have had the choice to go in there with an AK-47 and make the sheriff wet his pants with fear. Then we'd see who was the most moral person. And what if the male and female roles were reversed?
(Never ask a feminist to comment on a moral dilemma!)
