Sudan, the land of 2 milion kilo-meters square, is called the sick African man. Most of the its land is suitable for caltivation, but this country is still depending on external aids. What are the reasons for that? why all the news that coming about it all related to catastrophes? or all about genocide? Sudan's luck of equality, justice, and democracy, are the most stronger factors of its luck of devolopment and civil wars.
One reason of Sudan's civil wars and luck of Devolopment is inequality. Sudan, as a state, passed by six eras: Nubian civilization, Arab entrance, Turkish-Egyptian colonization, Al-Mahadia revolution, English- Egyptian colonization, and the independance or the present sudan. the luck of equality started after Muhamed Al-Mahadi defeated the Turkish- Egyptian colonization. in his fighting, he depended on the non Arab people, who are known as good fighters. After his conquire, he made Al- Khalifa Abdala Altaishi to be the secound man in the state. however, Muhamed Al-Mahadi died in 1885. During Al-Mahadiah time, Sudan saw the first attempt of inequality, when Almahadiah chose an Arab governor for the black African region of South Sudan. In 1898, Sudan fall under the Anglo- Egyptian colonization. Sudan got its independence from Britain since January,1956. However, since then, the country was ruled by the Northerner Arab people, and they have never gave the other parts' people a chance to participate in ruling the state. What means that they were neglected, and even denied to be recognized as real Sudanese, who have right. This Arab controle of the state generates a kind of anti Arab movement, in other words, Africanism. The whole country has started to be aware about thier rights, and started to think of why not to orgaize themrselves and compose a revilution movement or even army to get their rights. this inequality has lead Sudan to a civil war, which has started in the south and spreaded to the East and West. The wars have contributed to stop the devolopment of the state.

Because I am from Africa, I find that African politics is especially painful to contemplate. The countries we lived in don't seem to have fared as badly as Sudan, mainly because the countries I was in had decades more of the development and infrastructure which Sudan seems to lack. But my heart bleeds when I hear (every day, it seems) about the bloodshed and violence and misery in the most beautiful part of the world.
