My Happy Experience in NAIT & Happy New Year!

As you know, with Vivienne's kindly help, I contacted with the dean of the Registrar's Office. Don, the dean of the registrar's office, helped me to fix all the problems and everything is OK now.

So, now my weird experiences have gone and the last one made me very happy.

Thank Vivienne, Don, and the staff of the Registrar's Office.

Happy New Year!

Miss you guys

During school, we all HAVE TO write a blog.
I don't know if I wrote 15 comments and 5 posted or whatever.
Now I check some blogs and write comments and post this.
I like to do without controlling by someone, and do whenever I want
: this is called intrinsic motivation,eh??!
I think this is really stupid though, but I always do like this.

Anyway, how's going?
Happy Friday?!

It doesn't really matter because school is OVER!!!

I look back to the past when my class starts on May 2008.
I was so excited to see people who may be friends and could study without paying by myself.

I was like
" Oh my god! This class is really international!!"
" Samson looks so scary!"
" Aziz looks like one of my friend from chili."
" Two girls seem like my age..... WHAT! Do they have a baby!"
" Wow, David speaks really fast..."

I was like a kid who just enter elementary school or something like that.

I hate to stay at home without doing nothing.
I think that is my nature to being Japanese.lol

Even though some people say " YAY, school is over!!"

I would say I miss to go school to see my classmates. Everyone is awesome!
Especially, Hanife is like my family for me.
Samsom encouraged me a lot! Thank you!

I found out many people in the class have not much friends in here.
So do I. So, I think the feeling is mutual eh?

I am going back school from May to take up-grading.
All I have to take is Math, Chemi and Bio.
Till May, I probably work at Starbucks on Jasper ave 109st as a part time job, study and write a beautiful resume, study TOEFL and hopefully either work or volunteer at veterinarian clinic.

Well, I hope we will see soon, and have a nice vacation for all of you!!

Betrayed love and friendship

This story occurred in Belgium. Simon and Henry were two inseparable frinds. When they came to Belgium from Congo, the two frinds didn't take it easy because they were unemployed for many years. Finally, Henry got a job. About six months later, he helped Simon to be hired in the same compagny. The first day Simon started to work, he fell in love at the first sight with Pauline, the boss' daughter. She felt the same feeling. Pauline was young, beautiful, and rich. The following year, both Simon and Pauline got married. Simon' s life was transformed from poverty into wealth. Henryand Simon were still great friends. After two years of marriage, Simon decided to go back to Congo, alone, to visit his parents. Pauline gave him permission to travel. In Congo, Simon fell in love with a young woman. He told the lies that he was single, so he got married with her. Simon promised the bride that, as soon as he went back to Europe, he would do immigration papers so that she would come to Belgium and live together. Thrusting her husband, the just married woman was very happy at the thoughts that she was going to follow her lover in Belgium in about one year. When Simon got back to Europe, he hid the truth to Pauline. However, he revealed allthe adventure to Henry his best friend. In addition, Simon gave to Henry the DVD containing the wedding report. They sweared each other not to expose the truth to anybody. Unfortunately, by jealousy, Henry called Pauline and watched the DVD together. The secret was revealed in the Simon' s back. Feeling betrayed, Pauline decided to punish Simon. Just one week later, Simon was found dead, stabbed by a criminal engaged by Pauline. When the married woman in Congo got the bad news, she killed herself; She was already pregnant from Simon. What a story. Henry betrayed Simon who betrayed Pauline and the Congolese woman. This is a true story. It's really hard to understand what people want.

Attributing Chinese names to non-Chinese speakers

There are two quite different traditions in attributing Chinese names to non-Chinese speakers.

In mainland China, our convention is to employ the most literal phonetic translation available. For example, George Washington's name would be translated to Qiaozhi Huashengdun. Such names, however, may or may not bear any meaning in Chinese and are generally easily identifiable as direct translations from a foreign language.

The tradition in Hong Kong, on the other hand, is to seek an actual Chinese name that approximates the foreign tongue and has a semantic meaning. These names are richer and more easily remembered, but may sound so different as to be unrecognizable from their foreign roots.
