Where is my summer?

I'm officially annoyed.

Where is summer? I want some warm weather. It's bad enough that I live in a place that has temperatures below freezing for at least half the year without having to endure chilly summers as well.

The final straw, however, is that the air conditioning in this place seems to have been set to stun. I have to take a sweater to work so that I don't freeze. I'm cold all year round and it is starting to get on my nerves.

I think I will start a petition for businesses to help to save the environment by raising the temperature of their air conditioning during summer. By setting thermostats a few degrees higher, they would use less electricity and would save money, as well as feeling that they were helping to cut their carbon footprint (or whatever the current buzzword is).

To put a bit of warmth in your despair you should know that Alberta is rated #1 for most sunny days year-round,312.4 days. Personally, I prefer fresh temperature than hot hell. More it is cold, more layers you wear, but, conversely, when you are naked in your bed and the mercury continues to raise, what can you do!
The coldest Albertan temperature on record was -54°C, while the highest temperature was 46°C.(2007 Charming Inns of Alberta) http://www.charminginnsofalberta.com/weather.html

Eventhough the temperature in Edmonton is not higher than it is in my country, the weather here seems hotter. This weekend the weather was so hot:35 degree. I have three air conditioners in my home, all of them were turned on this weekend and yet, the weather was barely better. I came from a country where the usual temperature in the summer ranges between 45 to 50, and still I cannot afford hot sunny days.
